![]() The theme for the fifth could be as simple as it being a rare color. In the end I don't see what's wrong with White Fire Dragon and Black Ice Dragon instead of getting tricky.Įvery color set has a theme. Dark and light taming ice dragon full#Black Moon is also a term also used to describe a month that does not have a full moon in it, so it would work for Ice dragons hatching black on an eclipse. On the 30th of this month there will be a rare lunar even called a Black Moon, where the full moon is literally black, so other names that come to mind are "White Moon" and "Black Moon" if they both hatch at night. Or the white fire dragon could be hatched on a full moon night and the black ice dragon could be hatched on an eclipse night. Or both colors would be achieved on full moon nights as described for the white fire dragon. Hatch an ice dragon between 50 ticks (or tighten the threshold closer to high noon) and you'll get a Black (Sun) ice dragon. Hatch a fire dragon between 1700 ticks (or tighten the threshold closer to exact midnight) and you'll get a White (Moon) fire dragon. So maybe the reverse would also be true here. And look at all the pure white cave dwelling and deep sea animals. Hatching on a full moon night when the moon is within a small threshold of midnight would make it a bit harder to obtain and more special.Īnimals like sharks tend to tan in the sun and bleach in the dark. The idea of special skins being obtained by special means is a really cool one. Actually that's a pretty good description. ![]() Prepare yourselves for one of my infamous walls of text! It kinda looks like my brain vomited into the comments section. But the bronze is already at the yellow end of the spectrum.Įdit: Forgot to say that I like the current colors and see no reason why they would need to add a fifth color theme. That could also give the purple colored dragon someone was asking for several comments up. A sun beaten toned fire dragon and a midnight shaded ice dragon, possibly with some white flecks for stars. That could give you the sandy colored fire dragon. Maybe an astral thing? Like a sun and moon/ star theme. It shouldn't be too much trouble to add a 5th color, but I'm coming up blank trying to think up a theme. The current color themes are an elemental color, a gem color, a metal color, and a desaturated color.Ĭome up with a fifth theme and they might go for it. If you want a 5th coloration for both, you'll need a 5th theme for the two new colors to follow. If it's not a problem, could you add a drake, and is pretty much like a reptilian horse? Also,a new pair or colorations, one being a sand/desert look for the fire dragon, and an alternative for the ice dragon? Well, this is really far out but still something for the future maybe, but something awesome nonetheless. But some can breath electricity for example (this could have support for giving rf to machines) or something else op and really cool. There will be the tiniest chance that you will get a dragon who can't breath anything but can do massive damage or can fly really fast. Some that will spew out water, others snow and some just the regular fire or ice, with some altered stats and different coloured scales. Maybe there could be multiple different breeds. We aim for dragon taming to be as personal an experience as possible, while dragon breeding will be possible the idea of mass breeding dragons / dragon farming is something we would like to avoid. ![]() Now you could argue, oh but what about the multiplayer aspect. Dark and light taming ice dragon mod#Dragon breeding in the mod will be very similar to that of fossils and archaeology, with no hybridization option. From a standpoint of creative effort, the amount of additional coding and modeling work for something that is practically useless within the games and is actually disadvantageous relative to what is already provided makes it essentially a waste of time. Gonna put it bluntly to prevent dancing around the issue. ![]()
